"Life,Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" Oh, wait I might have stolen that from somewhere :) No I really believe the American Dream is to live in a country where you don't have to live in fear because of who you are, what you look like, or what you choose to believe in. Living the American Dream is being able to pursue whatever path you want to without limitations. Since I already sound like a Miss America contestant I will now I will just say I want world peace and be done with it.

Marie, you forgot the end to world hunger. My personal American dream is living on the coast of NC on about 5 +/- acres with a successful job, husband, kids, and a zoo in my backyard (almost quite literally). In general though, I would say the American dreams falls along the lines of what Marie said. I'm a free spirit, so in my mind, it's a world where you do what your heart desires (within reason; psychopaths should not be given this option) and you believe, feel, and live the way you think is right. Not necessarily a white picket fence or a glass apartment in the city, but the perfect fit with no distractions.

Wow way to start off with an intense question Marie lol. I guess my personal version of the American dream would have something to do with "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" but being able to find all of that in Christ, rather than in myself or other people and hopefully passing on that kind of attitude and life to my kids and grandkids and such. On a more selfish note, it would be pretty awesome to be a graphic designer for a church that I really love and that is wholeheartedly seeking after God and living out his word. And world peace and curing hunger would be a-okay in my book too. :)

A gorgeous wife, a log cabin style house on a few acres of woodsy land, less than 2 hours drive from a good snowboarding slope, a soundproof room in my house filled with instruments, a few smart kids who pay their own dang way through college, a couple of large dogs, and having tenure in a job for which I'm grossly overpaid.
