I would open a bakery... that'd be sweet, in more way than one...

plus I mean who doesn't want fresh baked goods everyday of their life?

a book store, no question. and it would have really comfy couches where you can sit and read.

(Please read after Dewey's)

I would open more than a recording studio...I would open a recording studio that has bed and breakfast type accomodations for the musicians. Take that akadewey.

So.. didn't exactly define how much money so I'm going to assume "enough" and say asteroid mining. You think I'm kidding, but I'm not.

I would open replicas of "Sugar Shack", found in St. Bernard's Parrish, Lousianna. Sugar Shack had the best "snowballs" in the New Orleans area over the summer, and as someone down there described them.."they're not crushed ice and they're not ice cream, they are plasma". The best thing is they are only $1.25, you can't beat that.

There's a coffee shop in Myrtle Beach called the Living Room, which I would love to recreate in a less sleazy town. It's got great coffee, comfy couches, free wireless internet, live music and poetry readings, a small library, and they are owned by a Christian ministry. I would just add two things: (1) a "take a book, leave a book" system to keep the library stocked and interesting, and (2) good wine and beer.

PS - I miss you guys.

Man, this is a tough one. I think I would like to run a business that is essentially a firing firm. If you want somebody fired but don't know how to put it, you contact my associates. I think we'd be wildly successful.

I would open a design store that makes new and cutting edge ideas but also critics and modifies existing designs... somewhat like apple and Steve Jobs (because he needs some competition.. )

I would open a restaurant or possibly even a bed and breakfast in an old home or barn which would be known for its homemade bread. Yum!

I'm a writing on behalf of Matt Kerr because he texted me his answer at 8:45pm. Also I could not think up an answer to my own question mostly because a lot of my ideas got taken and wanted my voice to be heard on this blog in some way. Cutting to the chase, Matt Kerr would open a fish shack on the gulf coast and he would call it Matt's Shack.
